The Legendary “Shikari” | Shikari Fishing Charters | Shikari Cairns
Shikari is a custom built 40ft (12m) vindex. This well known vessel is a Cairns favourite that has won many fishing tournaments and associated with multiple world records. This design gives superior stability in all weather conditions and is a fast and comfortable ride out to the reef.
Built to 2C survey, she can accomodate 10 passengers. She has a tuna tower for spotting baitfish and birds, with the help of our recently new electronics. The open cockpit design delivers superior angler comfort and provides direct contact with all the action.
Shikari fishing charters is also equipped with an array of quality fishing tackle. Heavy tackle marlin gear is Penn 130 2-speeds and custom built bent butt rods. Light tackle gear includes TLD Shimano overheads and Daiwa Saltiga spinning outfits. We can accommodate the extensive variety of fishing the reef has to offer.
The huge spacious back deck is ideal for scuba diving charters. Shikari is fitted with all dive and safety equipment.
