Personalised Private Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Cruises – Michaelmas Cay
Michaelmas Cay National Park is located near the outer reef, an hour and half outĀ from Cairns. The small low lying sand cay is home to thousands of ground-nesting seabirds, and is one of the seven most important seabird breeding areas on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Common seabirds such as Sooty Terns, the common Noddy and the Crested Tern, can be seen all year round- making Michaelmas Cay a great place for bird watchers and photographers.
The Cay also holds colourful coral gardens and an incredible diversity of marine life. Apart from the coral trout, nemo and amazing giant clams, GT’s (Giant Trevally) are what makes this place truly remarkable. These tame fish are up to 100lbs and can be hand fed. Amazing dive sites are near by.
We offer private scuba diving and snorkeling cruises to the Great Barrier Reef for all ages. Come and join us on a great day!
